PROSPECTUS 'HOME SCHOOL LINKS'

Home school links The school is committed to working in partnership with parents. Parents and carers are involved in pupils’ education through a variety of means including home school books, termly consultation on pupils IEPs, annual review meetings for pupils’ statements, an annual report on pupil progress, termly open days and an open door policy that encourages parents to contact the school with any concerns. Where pupils may have complex needs that require a multi-agency approach to their care the school will facilitate meetings in school including reviews for pupils who are in the care of the local authority. The school also has a termly newsletter to keep parents informed of developments within school.

The school welcomes parents’ views on how well it is providing for our pupils and surveys parents on an annual basis.

The school also has a Parents Teachers and Friends Association that raises funds to support the school.
