Design and Technology

Technology challenges our students to produce solutions to real problems.
The students are encouraged to develop design and technological capabilities by looking closely at familiar things such as the local shops, things around the home, pictures, poems, stories etc.
These are then used as starting points. With help to identify suitable materials, such as wood, plastic, junk materials, textiles, baking materials, construction kits etc.,

Students learn to carry out their design from the original idea to the final product. As they move through school, students experiences and understanding increase and their skills will include producing working models.
